Communications Minister Manoj Sinha today said BSNL and MTNL would give focus to clean nearly 27,600 telephone exchanges in the country during the forthcoming Swachhta fortnight starting first of next month.<br/><br/>Speaking to media in New Delhi, Mr Sinha said, Prime minister has assigned a fortnight to various ministries for undertaking cleanliness activities and department of telecommunications has been assigned first fortnight of November. He said various activities have been planned by the department including special cleanliness drive in the office building premises and its surroundings.<br/><br/> Mr Sinha said, MTNL would undertake cleanliness activities at Gateway of India, Mumbai and BSNL will undertake cleanliness activities in Qutub Minar area. Mr Sinha said the cooperation of telecom services providers is also being enlisted for the cause.
