BSNL today launched the high speed 4G services in Punjab circle at Chandigarh. Director CFA (Consumer Fixed Access) of BSNL Mr. N.K.Gupta said on the occassion that BSNL is committed to providing the state-of-art services to its customers. He said 4G will offer lightening speed experience for its customers. <br/><br/>BSNL 4G network will be able to provide high speed data upto 100 Mbps and customers will be able to download large files of the order of one GB within few seconds which at present takes hours. He said this will play a vital role for video camera surveillance, traffic management solutions and the home- land security service in India. <br/><br/>He also mentioned about some of the major initiatives taken recently for the benefit of customers which include, pre-night calling services facility to BSNL landline customers from 9 pm to 7 am to any number of any operator across the country and free roaming incoming facility to all mobile customers.
