The state run telecommunication behemoth Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, BSNL, has announced a new plan offering unlimited local and long distance calls to any network. <br/><br/>The plan with a validity of six months costs Rs 144 a month and is bundled with 300 MB free data, as announced by its chairman-cum-managing director Anupam Srivastava in Chennai. <br/><br/>Addressing the media, he said the BSNL is planning to launch 4400 free wifi hotspots across the country. He said the hotspots would be expanded to 40-thousand in the next one year.
