BSF seizes 2 kg of heroin near Indo-Pak border

Border Security Force (BSF) seized two packets weighing 2 kg of contraband suspected to be heroin near border outpost Dona Telu Mull in Ferozepur sector (Punjab) of Indo-Pak border. One SIM card of Pakistan was found near the packets. Inspector General BSF, Punjab Frontier, Shri Anil Paliwal has said in a press note that contraband was found,during a special search operation launched by force personnel based on information about concealment of narcotics in fields.<br/><br/>He said BSF has issued operational guidelines to all the Sectors under Punjab Frontier for further strengthening the border domination so as to effectively check activities of anti- national elements on Punjab border with Pakistan. According to BSF, activities of smugglers and anti-national elements have heightened due to tilling season.
