BSF recovers 31 kilogram of heroin from Indo-Pak border

Border Security Force has recovered 31 kilogram of heroin from near the Channa post of BSF situated on Indo-Pak border in Gurdaspur. The contraband is stated to be worth crores of rupees in the international market. <br/><br/>Disclosing this in a press conference in Jalandhar, DIG, BSF, Mohammed Aqil has said that this is a handiwork of Pakistan based smugglers who by taking advantage of the flow of river Raavi, smuggle the contraband. <br/><br/>In the present case, the smugglers swam up to the Indian side with the heroin but when saw BSF personnel's deputed there, left the contraband wrapped up in a cloth numbering 31 packets of a kilogram each near the river bank.
