Two smugglers allegedly from Pakistan were killed in an encounter with BSF at Fazilka border in Punjab early this morning. Quoting BSF officials, news agencies report that some smugglers from Pakistan were trying to cross over into the Indian territory. They said, the smugglers opened fire on BSF personnel, and in retaliation, two of them were killed, while another was injured. During the search of the area, arms, ammunition and heroin worth crores of rupees were recovered.
