The body of 28-year-old Border Security Force Jawan, Nitin Koli, who was martyred on Saturday morning in firing by Pakistani security forces, was brought in Pune yesterday evening. According to sources, the body was taken to his native Town Dudhgaon in Sangli district where the funeral is scheduled for today. Koli hailed from a farmers' family in Dudhgaon village in Miraj tehsil of Sangli district in Maharashtra. He had joined BSF in 2008. In order to pay homage to the martyr, his villagers did not celebrate Diwali this season.
