BSF jawan killed in cross border firing in Jammu

<br/>In a series of ceasefire violations in two days, Pakistani troops again today resorted to unprovoked firing on a forward Indian outpost along the International Border in Jammu sector. The cease-fire violations since yesterday morning has left two BSF jawans killed, one jawan and a civilian injured. <br/><br/>According to BSF sources, Pakistani troops fired at Pindi, Mala Bela and Chak Phagwari border outposts. The firing started yesterday evening at about 7.40 p.m and continued till mid night which killed a BSF jawan and caused injuries to another BSF jawan and a villager. BSF troops fired back effectively to silence the Pak firing. The deceased BSF jawan has been identified as K. Hari Prasad while the injured jawan has been identified as Sharad Kant Barua and injured villager as Roop Singh. Yesterday morning BSF trooper Sultan Ali was killed in the Pak firing at the Chak Fagwari border outpost. Pakistani troops again opened fire at the Chak Pagwari Border outpost in Pargwal around 5 a.m today and the firing continued for over an hour .BSF troops guarding the border fired back resulting in exchange of firing. <br/><br/>However, in this latest round of firing no damage was caused to Indian side. The firing from Pakistan has stopped when the reports last came in.
