In Chhattisgarh, a helicopter of the Border Security Force (BSF) crash landed in the Raipur airport during a test flight Sunday. The pilot, co-pilot, one engineer and two technical staff were injured in the incident. The injured have been admitted to a private hospital in Raipur where their condition is stated to be out of danger. The Airport General Manager Mr. Anil Ray told the media that the copter crashed on the runway from a height of about 100 feet during the test flight. He however said that the reasons for the accident are yet to be ascertained. The BSF uses these helicopters in providing logistics and other assistance to its jawans during anti-naxal operations. The BSF jawans are currently deployed in the naxal affected Kanker district of the state.
