BSF foils Pak smugglers’ bid, seizes 15 Kg of Heroin in Punjab

Foiling a bid of Pakistani smugglers, the Border Security Force (BSF) on Thursday seized 15 Kg of Heroin from the Punjab’s Ajnala Sector of Indo Pak border. However after the exchange of fire with Indian Jawan the Pak smugglers escaped by taking the advantage of the fog after left behind the consignment.<br/><br/>While giving the details the S.S. Chatrath, DIG BSF Gurdasspur told media that after noticing some movement along the border late last night the BSF Jawan deployed at Border warned the Pak infiltrators to stop and when they the infiltrators did not heed to their warning and continued their movement towards Indian territory.<br/><br/>BSF troops then opened fire in which the suspected Pakistani smugglers were return back. However, the smugglers left behind their consignment, which included 15 Kg of Heroine and one mobile phone without a sim card.<br/><br/>The Jawans of the BSF has been guarding the 553 km long Punjab border along with the Pakistan. However the barbed wire also demarks the border though the smuggler activate at the both side of the border has been trying to smuggle the narcotics from the Pakistani side.<br/>
