In Jammu and Kashmir, an infiltration bid was foiled by alert BSF jawans in Pargwal sector of Akhnoor tehsil in Jammu District in the wee hours today. According to reliable sources, a group of infiltrators tried to infiltrate into Indian territory but upon being noticed by alert BSF jawans, they started indiscriminate firing which was returned by the BSF and in the ensuing exchange of fire, one intruder was killed.
