In Jammu and Kashmir, yet another infiltration bid has been foiled by the Border Security Force in the Kana Check area of Akhnoor sub-sector in Jammu. Observing some movements near post of the Kana Check area on Indo-Pak International Border on Tuesday night, the troops of BSF gave a warning to the infiltrators on which the latter started indiscriminate firing on the troops. The forces across the border also resorted to the cover fire to facilitate the infiltration into this side. The BSF retaliated and the firing lasted for six hours intermittently. This is the third infiltration bid that has been foiled by the BSF in the Kana Check areas of Akhnoor sub- sector within three days.
