The Director General of the Border Security Force, Utthan Kumar Bansal, will be visiting Meghalaya from Thursday till Saturday to review the security scenario in the state. Meghalaya shares a long international border with Bangladesh. The DG BSF would also be visiting the border to assess the situation and to ensure that no anti-national elements cross over to Indian territory. Bansal is expected to call on the Governor R S Mooshahary and Chief Minister Mukul Sangma besides meeting officials of the state government.
