A BSF Contingent for UN Peace Keeping in Congo was flagged off today. The contingent has a total strength of 125 personnel. This is the fifth consecutive contingent to Congo. It will be deployed at Goma from the 8th of this month.According to an official release, the contingent has been trained to combat the menace of civil war and assist the local police in maintaining law and order.
