The Border Security Force, BSF has asked Bangladesh Rifles to dismantle 90 hideouts of northeast insurgents on its soil and hand over the ultras to the Indian authorities. The demand was made by BSF during a four-day meeting of the border guards held in Bangladesh's Sylhet district which concluded on Saturday. A BSF spokesman said in Tripura's capital Agartala that issues like trans-border crime, illegal migration, smuggling of cattle, drugs and narcotics, poaching of Indian wildlife, repatriation of convicted nationals and fake Indian currency racket figured in the discussion. BSF, DIG, A K Singh, who attended the meeting, said both the sides agreed that soil of the respective countries will not be allowed to be used by terrorists, insurgents and criminals. India shares over 4,000-kilometers border with Bangladesh.
