In Chhattisgarh, six suspected Maoists including a woman have been arrested in Kanker district. Talking to PTI, the police said that the accused were arrested during a seize in the forest area near Nivra and Gotia villages, under the Raoghat station area, by a joint team of the Border Security Force and state police. Many cases, including those of firing at police personnel and attempts to murder, have earlier been registered against the accused.
