BSE Sensex ups by 149 points in noon trade

Rebounding from initial losses, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange climbed 149 points, or 0.8 percent, to 19,554 in afternoon deals, a short while ago, on better-than-expected second quarter GDP growth numbers.Earlier in the morning, the Sensex had opened 169 points, or 0.9 percent in the red, at 19,236.Other Asian markets in Japan, Indonesia, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan were trading mixed.
