The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex recovered by over 106 points in opening trade today on emergence of buying by foreign funds amid a firming Asian trend. Sensex was trading at 16658, up by over 78 points when reports last came in. Stocks of auto, consumer durables and realty sectors were in the positive zone with gains up to 1.32 per cent.
