The Bombay Exchange benchmark Sensex was trading in the red in afternoon trade today. The Sensex was down by 190 points at 19257 a short while ago. Earlier in the opening trade, it gained almost 65 points to 19,356 on the back of selective buying by funds and retail investors.Similarly, the National Stock Exchange benchmark was trading 12 points down at 5773.
