BSE Sensex rises over 46 points in early trade

The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange today rose over 46 points in early trade after two sessions of losses on emergence of buying by funds in oil and gas, capital goods,realty and power sectors stocks on the first session of new settlement in the derivatives segment. The 30-share barometer rose by 46 points, to 19,851 points. The index had lost almost 498 points in the previous two sessions.The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange index moved up by 16 points, to 5,924.
