The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex rose by over 80 points in the opening trade today on continued capital inflows by foreign funds. The Sensex was trading at 17641, up by over 82 points when reports last came in. The Hong Kong's Hang Seng index was up 0.20 per cent,while Japan's Nikkei gained 0.70 per cent in the morning tradetoday.
