BSE Sensex rise 155 pts

Continuing its upward march for the eighth straight session, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange rose 155 points, or 0.8 percent, to 19,445, today, on continued FII inflows, easing inflation, and positive Asian markets. This is the longest winning streak for the Sensex since April, last year. The Sensex has now gained over 1,600 points in just eight trading sessions. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange added 46 points, or 0.8 percent, to 5,834.Other Asian markets in Japan, South Korea, Singapore and Hong Kong rose about 0.5 percent, each.
