BSE Sensex recovers by over 183 points in opening trade but later lost initial gains

The BSE benchmark Sensex today recovered by over 183 points in the opening trade. However, it lost its initial gains and was trading in red at 19,082, down by over 113 points a short while ago.In the Asian region, the Hong Kong's Hang Seng was up by 0.89 per cent, while Japanese Nikkei gained 0.51 per cent in the morning trade today.The US Dow Jones Industrial Average ended 0.30 per cent higher in yesterday's trade.
