BSE Sensex rebounces

Extending Tuesday's losses; the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange dropped 150 points to 16,203 in opening trade on Wednesday morning, pulled down by weak cues from other Asian markets. But the Sensex later rebounded from its lows, and stood 17 points, or 0.1 per cent in the green, at 16,371, a short while ago. Meanwhile, key stock indices in China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and Taiwan were down by between 0.8 per cent and 2.2 per cent on Wednesday.
