BSE Sensex in green

The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange fell 104 points, 0.6 per cent in early trade, on profit-booking and weak Asian markets today. But the Sensex later rebounded, and stood 17 points, or 0.1 per cent in the green, at 18,662, a short while ago. Other Asian markets in Japan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, and Singapore were down by between 0.3 per cent and 2.2 per cent, today, as the yen rose to a new 15-year high, and on renewed worries about European banks. The US Dow Jones Industrial Average had ended 1 per cent lower, overnight.
