The BSE benchmark Sensex today was up by nearly 106 points to 18,348 during afternoon session. The 30-share index fell by 98 points in early trade due to selling by funds and retail investors amid a weak trend in Asian market.Similarly, the wide-based National Stock Exchange index Nifty gained 42 points, to 5,570.
