Extending Wednesday's rally, the Sensex rose by almost 82 points in opening trade today. The rise was led by IT, tech, capital goods, metal and realty stocks.The 30-share index of the Bombay Stock Exchange rose to 20,338 in the first few minutes of trade. The barometer had gained over 231 points in Wednesday's session to touch a six-week high.Similarly, the wide-based National Stock Exchange Nifty index moved up by 19.50 points, or 0.32 per cent, to 6,080.
