The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange gained 98 points, or 0.6 per cent, to 16,136 , in opening trade, today, amid a positive trend in other Asian markets. Remaining firm, the Sensex stood 126 points, or 0.8 percent in the green, at 16,160, a short while ago. Stock markets in Japan, Indonesia and South Korea rose by between 0.1 percent and 0.5 per cent.
