The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex fell by nearly 62 points in opening trade today. Sensex was trading flat at 17,746 when reports last came in. The National Stock Exchange's Nifty was also trading flat at 5320.Brokers said besides emergence of profit-booking by foreign funds and retail investors , weak trend on other Asian bourses was responsible for the fall.Meanwhile, Japan's Nikkei was down 0.42 per cent, while Hong Kong's Hang Seng shed 1.44 per cent in the morning trade today.
