Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange are holding a special trading session for gold exchange-traded funds, ETFs today on the occasion of Dhanteras. The stock exchanges will be open for trading in gold ETFs between 11 am and 3.30 pm. Besides, as a special offer, both the exchanges will not charge any transaction fee on the trades. Dhanteras is considered an auspicious day to buy gold and holds special significance among the business community. The ETF is an investment fund traded on stock exchanges, much like stocks, and trades close to the net asset value of the commodity over the course of the trading day.
