British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has assured Israeli opposition leader Tzipi Livni that she is always welcome in his country, after Britain issued a warrant for her arrest.<br/><br/>At the request of a Palestinian group, a London court issued a warrant for Ms Livni's arrest on war crimes charges. The warrant has since been retracted.<br/><br/>The former Israeli Foreign Minister was due to travel to the United Kingdom last weekend for a conference but did not go, fearing she could be arrested.<br/><br/>The British Government has been in damage control ever since, with foreign secretary David Miliband promising his Government will review the law to ensure such an incident cannot happen again. Mr Miliband said it was essential that representatives from Israel could visit Britain freely to talk about the peace process.<br/><br/>But the London-based Palestinian Solidarity Campaign Group says the law should not be changed.<br/><br/><br/>
