British PM pays respect to soldiers

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has reiterated his commitment to the war in Afghanistan despite the killing of five British soldiers by an Afghanistan police officer in southern Helmand province on Tuesday. Mr. Brown paid respect to the soldiers during his weekly question session in the House of Commons on Wednesday.<br/><br/>Britain has lost nearly 230 troops in Afghanistan since a US-led invasion ousted Taliban in 2001.
