British Prime Minister David Cameron arrives in Islamabad Tuesday on his first visit to Pakistan since taking office nearly a year ago. Mr. Cameron will confer with Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and the country's prime minister, Yousuf Raza Gilani. The British leader's visit is seen as a further attempt to improve relations with Pakistan after Mr. Cameron suggested the Muslim-majority South Asian country has allowed ‘the export of terror.’ He made the comment last July during a visit to India. A month later, Mr. Zardari traveled to London, where he and Mr. Cameron proclaimed that the relationship between Pakistan and Britain, the former colonial power, is ‘unbreakable.’ During his one-day stay in Islamabad, the British leader is to deliver a speech calling for a fresh start in his government's relations with Pakistan.
