British Parliamentarians call on PM Modi

An eight-member delegation of British Parliamentarians called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi today. The Prime Minister said, the relations between India and the United Kingdom have strong bipartisan support in both countries, and called for enhanced interactions between the Parliamentarians of both countries. <br/><br/>Mr Modi also said, India and UK are natural partners in the global fight against terrorism, and urged the Parliamentarians to continue to raise their collective voice against terrorism, extremism and radicalization. <br/><br/>He recalled his own visit to the UK in November 2015, and the visit of Prime Minister Theresa May to India in November last year. The Prime Minister welcomed the celebration of 2017 as the India-UK Year of Culture.

British Parliamentarians call on PM Modi

The countdown for ISRO's tomorrow's launch of a record 104 satellites on PSLV C-37 in a single mission from Sriharikota is progressing smoothly. The 28-hour countdown began at 5:28 this morning. <br/><br/>The launch is scheduled for 9.28 AM tomorrow from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre. The rocket will carry India's principal payload Cartosat-2 Series satellite weighing 714 kilograms. It will be joined by 103 other payloads, all together weighing 664 kilograms. Apart from Cartosat-2 Series satellite, two nano-satellites are from India and the remaining 101 are from other countries.
