British based scientists win Nobel Prize in Physics

Nobel Prize for Physics has been awarded jointly to two British based scientists – Andrei Geim and Konstantin Novoselov. The Nobel Committee in Stockholm say they won the prize for their ground breaking experiments with graphene, a virtually two dimensional material that has the thickness of one atom. The material has amazing properties. Both the professors work at the University of Manchester.
