British ambassador to Yemen survives in suicide attack

In Yemen, the British ambassador to Yemen Tim Torlot survived a suicide bomb attack early today. According to Yemen’s Interior Ministry a suicide bomber detonated an explosive vest at the ambassador's convoy at the Berlin Park in Noqum District but none was hurt. The ambassador came out unhurt and none of his escorts and accompanying British officials was injured in the failed attack. The bomber was killed in the attack. Ministry says that the attack bore al-Qaeda hallmarks and an investigation is underway.
