British Foreign Secretary, William Hague, has confirmed that a grenade thrown by a US soldier killed the British Aid Worker Linda Norgrove in Afghanistan during a failed rescue effort. Mr. Hague revealed the results on Thursday of a joint US-British investigation into the death of Ms Norgrove in the Kunar province in October.
