Britain today assured India of all cooperation to probe the allegations of irregularities in the VVIP chopper deal. Speaking to the media after delegation level talks with Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh in New Delhi, British Prime Minister David Cameron said said Britian has strong anti-bribery laws and his country will respond to any request for information from India on Augusta Westland. During the talks, Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh had expressed concern over allegations of unethical practices in the 3600 crore rupeess VVIP chopper deal. Dr Singh told Mr Cameron that the integrity Pact has been violated in the chopper deal.
Dr. Singh said both the leaders reviewed the entire expanse of bilateral relations and expressed satisfaction with progress in mutual engagements. He also said, both the countries also discussed ways to generate higher growth between the countries.
Mr Cameron said both the leaders have had productive discussions on foreign policy cooperation issues afflicting in Sri Lanka, Iran and Maldives.
