JNU student Leader Kanhaiya Kumar today demanded the Government to bring out Justice Rohit Act to prevent atrocities on Dalits and weaker sections in higher education institutes. He also said the fight for social justice on education campuses will continue. <br/><br/>He briefly addressed students at the main gate of the Hyderabad Central University when police prevented him to enter the campus. Condemning the attitude of the University authorities and police who prevented all non-university members from entering the campus, Kanhaiya Kumar said he is in favour of maintaining peace at the university and will be leaving without insisting to enter the campus. <br/><br/>He reiterated that students will continue their fight for freedom of expression at the universities and upholding the constitution of the country. Students who supported and opposed him to enter the university gathered at the main gate in large numbers despite large deployment of police forces in huge numbers. Leaders of Left Parties accompanied Kanhaiya<br/>Kumar . <br/><br/>Before coming to the HCU, he met Rohit's Mother and Brother.<br/><br/>Earlier, police took 28 students into custody for disobeying the university orders and resorted to mild lathi-charge to disburse groups of students who gathered on the campus. It may be known that the university authorities have suspended all classes till Saturday and classes will restart from only Monday next.
