Bridge collapse kills twelve children in Indonesia

In Indonesian, twelve children have died and dozens others injured after a suspension bridge collapsed in Aceh province. A local official said, the accident took place when the waters at Lawe Alas river at Gayo Luwes district overflowed following heavy rains and hit the bridge. There were a lot of people at the bridge, most of them children who were watching a ritual ceremony to dispel misfortune after a measles outbreak in the area. District Chief said, many of them fell and swept away by the current of the river. Several children were rescued with minor injuries. Bodies of the seven children were found and search for the missing was underway. <br/>
