BRICS women parliamentarians forum has passed unanimously the Jaipur Declaration in closing ceremony in Jaipur on Sunday. <br/><br/>In the Jaipur Declaration the parliamentarians have expressed concern over the climate change on ecological systems, biodiversity and food production. <br/><br/>The members have focused to work out integrated solutions to preserve and protect ecological systems and forests. <br/>The declaration has emphasized the need to inform, communicate and educate citizens about developmental schemes.'<br/>On this occasion, Lok Sabha speaker Smt Sumitra Mahajan expressed serious concerns over climate change. <br/><br/>In her valedictory address she has said that climate change has affected humanity as a whole. She said that women can play an important role to face the challenges. <br/><br/>Speaker said that Member of Parliament are a better interface between citizens and government. She exhorted parliamentarians to learn and benefit from the best practice in BRICS countries. <br/><br/>Earlier, in her address Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje emphasized on roles of the parliamentarians in welfare of the citizens. <br/><br/>She said that public representatives should be torchbearer for alleviation of poverty, eradication of hunger, health reform and environmental protection.'
