The first edition of the BRICS Under-17 Football tournament begins in Goa today. The tournament, featuring Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, has been organised on the occasion of the 8th BRICS summit that will be held in Goa on the 15th of this month.The inaugural match will be played between Brazil and China.India will begin its campaign against Russia. The coach of the Indian team, Nicolau Adam said, the tournament will be a good exposure for the boys who did well in the Asian Football Confederation Under-16 Championships.
