BRICS nations seek 'firm' legal framework against terror

BRICS member nations have strongly condemned the recent terror attacks, including in India and sought for a firm legal framework under the UN for concerted efforts to fight terrorism effectively. <br/><br/>It also called for expediting negotiations to an international accord against the menace. <br/><br/>The meeting held in New York yesterday on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly expressed the concern that continued conflicts in several regions provided fertile grounds for terrorist activities. <br/><br/>The meeting of Foreign Affairs Ministers of BRICS also strongly condemned the recent attacks against some BRICS countries, including India.
