Brazil has reaffirmed its support for Iran's right to civilian nuclear programme during a visit to Latin America by the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. <br/><br/>President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva criticised attempts to isolate Iran over its nuclear ambitions. But he also urged Iran to seek what he called a just solution with the West.<br/><br/>It is the first visit by an Iranian president to Brazil, which maintains close ties with the US, Israel and other countries trying to block Iran's nuclear ambitions.<br/>
