Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that the brand image of Andhra Pradesh is to be promoted and that he had visited China with this as the main objective for drawing investments and claimed that technology is his best pal.<br/><br/>Talking to media yesterday evening in Vijayawada, after returning from his five-day China tour, he said that the brand image of Andhra Pradesh is to be promoted at par with Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, adding that industrialists in China and other countries mistook Hyderabad and Cyberabad, were still in Andhra Pradesh. He alleged the Congress for damaging the image of Andhra Pradesh.<br/><br/>Mr. Naidu said that several major multinational companies belonging to China evinced interest to invest in Andhra Pradesh. He informed that a mega industrial park would be established in Donakonda in Prakasham district. China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises evinced interest to invest 5 billion US dollars in Andhra Pradesh. <br/><br/>Mr. Naidu said that the Ansteel Engineering Technology Corporation evinced interest to establish a steel factory in Kadapa while Libra company evinced interest to invest in Shipping and Hospitality sectors in the state. <br/><br/>The State has also signed a Sister State MoU with Ghinzhou Province for the development of Andhra Pradesh. He said Power Construction Corporation of China also came forward for extending its cooperation to AP in its developmental initiatives.<br/><br/>Referring to the construction of world class capital Amaravati, the Chief Minister said that the Center made it clear that it would extend Rs.2,500 crore for the construction. He said the State had spent Rs.1500 crore for laying underground electrical cables.
