In Assam, the river Brahmaputra and its tributaries are flowing below the Danger level following the improvement in weather. The Central Water Commission report said that Brahmaputra and its a few tributaries which earlier flowing above the Danger level now felt down. Also, there are no reports of fresh flood in the affected districts of Upper Assam upto Wednesday evening. The district administration of Dhemaji today distributed flood relief for 3 days to the affected people. Flood affected atleast 30 villages of Dhemaji. On the other hand, flood condition in Jorhat, Lakhimpur and Sonitpur districts have slightly improved.
