Union Minister of Electronics and IT Ravi Shankar Prasad has said the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) is the fastest growing sector in the country and it has enormous potential to provide its services in Indian languages. Inaugurating networking workshop on India BPO Promotion Scheme in New Delhi today, Mr Prasad said government is making efforts to bring digital revolution and the BPO sector can be helpful in this regard. Mr Prasad advised Indian firms to become part of Make in India initiative. He said, 40 new mobile manufacturing units have been set up in country during the last two years. The Minister said the IT Industry and the Government needs to to work as partners in promoting innovation and further development of the IT industry. He said by using tools of technology in Direct Benefits Transfer scheme, the government saved six billion dollar.
