The oil giant, BP, said it has finished the key operation in sealing off the top of its blown up well in the Gulf of Mexico aimed at sealing it for good. The operation involved pumping cement on top of a heavy knob that was injected into the burst pipeline to push any remaining oil back into the reservoir.
