Boxing Coach Swatantra Raj Singh has been recommended for the prestigious life time achievement Dronacharya award. The award is given to Sports Coaches for their life time work in the field. This time, 3 Sports coaches were recommended, including Nihar Amin for Swimming and Harbans Singh for Athletics. Today in New Delhi's SAI Head Office, the selection committee's meeting was held under the chairmanship of Olympic Badminton Player Dipankar Bhattacharya in which Naval Singh for Para-Sports and Wrestling Coach Anoop Dahiya were recommended. Woman Swimmer Bula Chaudhry and Woman Athlete Chaini Wilson were also present in the committee.
