Both Houses of Parliament have been adjourned till noon following uproar over the opposition demand for the setting up of a Joint Parliamentary Committee to probe 2G spectrum scam. As soon as the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha assembled for the day, the opposition members were up on their feet raising pitch to press for their demand. Many of them trooped into the well of the House. In the Lok Sabha members from the ruling UPA were also demanding that question hour should continue. Although the question hour went on for few minutes, as the pandemonium continued and nothing could be heard in the din. The Speaker Mrs. Meira Kumar adjourned the House for about an hour. In the Rajya Sabha, the Chairman Mohd. Hamid Ansari said that the members are violating the rules even as he pleaded for the house to run. With several opposition members sloganeering in the well the House, the Chairman adjourned the house till 12 o clock. Our correspondent says that despite the resignation by the Communication and IT Minister A. Raja the unrelenting opposition persisted with the demand for JPC probe. Last week also the two houses had to be adjourned over the same issue on Thursday and Friday.
